This project contains articles about The Foreman bare-metal provisioning tool that I use to manage my servers.
The Forman is a heavier-weight provisioning solution than Proxmox, which also allows quick creation of virtual servers. Proxmox, however, takes a one-size-fits-all approach, which you can see in their message forum discussion over software raid: the Proxmox developers know better than anyone else, so you must accept their restrictions if you want to use their tool.
I am migrating from Proxmox to The Foreman. These articles describe how this was achieved.
